CHukwuemeka Obiokoye
Engr. Prof. Chidozie Chukwuemeka Nwobi-Okoye is a distinguished Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Nigeria, with over two decades of academic, research, and leadership experience. He holds a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from University of Benin, alongside advanced degrees in Engineering and Information Technology, and international certification as a Sun Microsystems Certified IT Professional. Prof. Nwobi-Okoye currently serves as Project Lead for the British Council’s Innovation in African Universities (IAU) initiative in Nigeria and as Head of Research at the Inter University Consortium Africa. His leadership portfolio spans research strategy, innovation management, capacity building, and international academic partnerships—aligning strongly with QUestVilla’s vision as a knowledge-driven enterprise. A globally recognized scholar, he has received the Highly Ranked Scholar Award (Top 0.05% worldwide), the United Nations SDGs Research Award by Elsevier, and recognition by the AD Scientific Index among the world’s top scientists. With an H-index of 17 and over 1,000 citations, his expertise spans operations research, optimization, artificial intelligence, systems engineering, and sustainable energy systems. He is a Fellow of the National Institute of Professional Engineers and Scientists (FNIPES), Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), and an active member of multiple international professional bodies. Prof. Nwobi-Okoye brings strategic governance insight, innovation leadership, global academic visibility, and strong industry–academia linkages—making him exceptionally well-suited for a Governing Board role at QUestVilla.
