Babatunde Musibau Olokun

Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Musibau Olokun is an accomplished legal practitioner, legislator, and governance expert with over three decades of distinguished service across Nigeria and Canada. With a strong foundation in law, public administration, and agricultural sciences, he brings a rare blend of regulatory, legislative, and executive experience to governance in knowledge-driven institutions. Dr. Olokun holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from John Marshall Law School (USA) and was called to the Nigerian Bar after completing the Nigeria Law School. He earned a BSc in Agricultural Sciences from Tuskegee University, USA. He also obtained a Leadership Certificate in University Governance from Oxford City Academy, UK, underscoring his commitment to higher education leadership and institutional excellence. His public service career includes serving as an elected Member of the National Assembly (1999–2003), Tribunal Justice at the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal, Canada, and Senior Special Adviser to the Ogun State Government. He has held strategic oversight roles as a Board Member of the National Universities Commission (2017–2021), Member of the Presidential Visitation Panel to the University of Ibadan, and currently serves as a Governing Council Member at the Federal University Kashere Gombe State. A member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, the Society of Ontario Adjudicators and Regulators. Dr. Olokun is widely respected for his adjudicative competence, dispute resolution expertise, and strategic governance insight. His experience in policy formulation, regulatory oversight, and institutional leadership positions him as a valuable asset to any knowledge enterprise company.
